Jooman Park

SVP, APAC

Jooman Park oversees Asia Pacific region where eBay has a portfolio of businesses, including the market-leading eBay Korea business (comprising Gmarket, Auction and G9 marketplaces) and eBay.com.au in Australia.

Prior to taking on the regional leadership role in APAC, Jooman was the Vice President & Managing Director of eBay Australia & New Zealand. He was in the role for four years, bringing to the market a focus on collaboration and partnership to enable growth in the local retail industry.

Jooman spent eight years prior to that as the Country Manager of eBay Korea, transforming that business from a start-up into a world class ecommerce platform.

Before joining eBay, he worked for Hyundai Investment Bank, The Boston Consulting Group, and Thrunet, one of the largest Internet Service providers in Korea.

Jooman has a B.S. in Business Management from Korea University and an M.B.A. from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

Jooman’s Favorite eBay Experience:

"One of my favorite items from eBay was a watch from a China-based seller. During our family travel on the Gold Coast, Australia, my daughter showed interest in a white watch with a rubber wristband at a souvenir shop. We started to search for similar watches on eBay and found the exact same one from a Chinese seller that was 20% of the price we saw in the shop including free shipping. The watch was already waiting for us at home when we returned from our holiday. A Korean consumer bought an item from a Chinese seller in Australia. We are connecting the world with great value and fast delivery - an awesome customer experience. I was so proud and my daughter was so happy."
