FedEx Comes to eBay Labels
By: Cicely Wedgeworth
eBay just announced that sellers will soon be able to print FedEx labels through eBay’s single label printing flow, allowing them to offer another reputable, reliable shipping service to buyers.
Bloomberg reported on the news, noting that eBay merchants will be able to print FedEx labels at home and ship at a discount of as much as 37 percent.
“We’ve been asking sellers to meet buyer expectations of free shipping and tracking,” Carl Gish, Vice President of shipping, told Bloomberg. “It’s something our sellers have been asking for for a while, given that we have USPS and UPS. FedEx, as a major player in that space, is clearly a great partner for both our buyers and sellers.”
The program has been launched as a pilot to a limited number of sellers, with full availability in the first quarter of next year.
