On Wednesday, ABC 7 News reporter David Louie demonstrated just how easy it’s gotten to sell on eBay.
In a news report, Louie tagged along with eBay selling assistant Marvin as he drove to a customer’s house and advised her on which of her belongings was likely to sell on the online marketplace. Marvin then took an inventory of her items and whisked them away to list and sell on eBay.
The pick-up program is part of a pilot project for eBay, primarily concentrated in the San Francisco Bay area. Assistants can only accept goods under 25 pounds, and will offer to donate your items to charity if they do not sell
