Laurie Wong didn't start her Powder Springs, Georgia community resource center and food pantry, Reflections of Trinity, as an eBay business. But with a friend's help and a willingness to try something new, Laurie began what she calls her “online adventure" in 2005, which changed the trajectory of her business. Laurie began selling the clothing, shoes, accessories, household items and furniture donations her church received online. With the ability to sell locally, nationally and internationally through eBay for Charity, Reflections of Trinity's revenue has increased tremendously, allowing the charity to expand its operations and help more of those in need in her local community. With an authentic desire to give back, Laurie has created a home-grown business that reaps great rewards – and serves them up for the greater good.
