Rebecca’s love of textiles began as a child, with trips to Bloomingdales any chance she got – just to get a feel of the luxurious fabrics in the store’s sewing department. After spending several years pursuing a legal career, Rebecca had her first child and shifted to a more flexible career that led back to her passion for textiles. She went into the soft furnishings business, making curtains, tablecloths and custom-made throw pillows. When she and her husband moved their family from the U.S. to Brussels, Belgium, Rebecca discovered beautiful antique and vintage European textiles in local markets. She began selling these textile finds on eBay in 2000, and has never looked back. Today, she offers an extensive collection of elegant textiles from around the world, and shares her deep love of textile design and colors with a global fan-base (who can touch and feel textiles from around the world after one click, no Bloomingdale’s trip required).
