Last month, StubHub mobile introduced a new pricing alert technology to help users find available tickets at just the price they want to pay. Now, on August 20th, the ticket marketplace is launching an integrated marketing campaign focused on encouraging fans to download and rank the app in support of what the company is calling internally “App Download Day.” According to Parag Vaish, Head of Mobile at StubHub, if the StubHub mobile app is able to break to into the top 10 in the entertainment category on the designated day, the company can double — and potentially even triple — its audience reach within the app store market.
