With summer officially here, consumers are looking for new avenues to beef up their savings or earn extra cash. eBay, the ultimate destination for selling unused or unwanted items, is offering a new promotion allowing first-time sellers to sell for free, up to five sales, now through June 301. To help new sellers decide exactly what to list, eBay tapped into marketplace data to determine the top trending items across a variety of categories, from home and garden, electronics, fashion, auto parts, collectibles and more. Shoppers are looking for everything from new and pre-loved tech to play sets and outdoor games — here are the highlights:

  1. List It: Selling on eBay is quick and easy. Simply scan the barcode or enter a description of the item, snap a photo, select the condition and click “list your item.” 

  2. Ship It: When your item sells, just drop it in the mail. Print with eBay labels and get a discount on shipping.

    • Through eBay, you can print FedEx and USPS shipping labels at a discounted rate. If you prefer UPS, you can join the UPS Saving Program

    3. Get Paid: Put money in your pocket by signing up for PayPal for free to get paid on eBay.
