eBay Welcomes Bob Kupbens as Vice President of Business-to-Consumer Selling

Kupbens will lead eBay’s Business-to-Consumer team and serve as global initiative owner for seller experience.

This week, we are welcoming Bob Kupbens, eBay’s new Vice President of Business-to-Consumer (B2C) Selling and global initiative owner for eBay’s seller experience. In this new role, he will drive efforts to scale sellers’ businesses, optimize eBay’s B2C platform for merchant success, and help to acquire new sellers.

Creating a fantastic experience for our sellers is a key part of eBay’s focus, and B2C selling is a critical area for the overall success of the business. Kupbens brings extensive industry as well as customer-facing experience to the role.
 
Previously, Kupbens was Vice President of Online Retail at Apple, where he was responsible for leading one of the top five largest ecommerce businesses globally. There, he was additionally responsible for the Apple Store app, Apple Store digital interactive experiences and global retail customer service teams. Prior to Apple, he was Vice President, Marketing & Digital Commerce, and Vice President, Ecommerce, at Delta Air Lines. He spent eight years at Target Corporation in a variety of roles and organizations, from distribution to technology to e-commerce.

Kupbens began his career at Ford Motor Company before going into consulting. He is a graduate of MIT and has an MBA from the University of Michigan Business School.
