eBay is bolstering its Markets leadership team with the return of Jordan Sweetnam to eBay as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Americas Market.
Sweetnam will lead the Marketplace business for the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. He rejoins the company, having spent 12 years at eBay earlier in his career, from Walmart where he was Senior Vice President, Customer Experience and Product. Sweetnam brings rich ecommerce expertise building differentiated products that delight customers and drive growth, and has an extensive background working across business, product, engineering and design to deliver meaningful impact to customers.
“Jordan’s incredible experience and energy will be a huge asset in this critical leadership role and we are thrilled to welcome him back to eBay to lead our Americas business,” said Jay Lee, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Markets. “He has long-standing relationships with many of eBay’s seller community, is an avid customer, and will bring an invaluable perspective to the Markets leadership team.”
Sweetnam will be based in San Jose and report to Lee beginning July 15.
