Cornelius has exceptional experience across all facets of human resource strategy and development on a global scale, most recently overseeing the People functions for American Airlines Group, one of the world’s largest airlines. While at American, Cornelius was also responsible for expanding and improving their DEI programs.

Prior to joining American Airlines, Cornelius held various HR positions at Walmart where he was most recently the vice president of Field Hourly Talent Management, which supported more than one million U.S. sales associates. During his time at Walmart, Cornelius also worked in the San Francisco Bay Area leading and co-leading human resources for a number of the business segments at Walmart ecommerce. Cornelius began his career in employment law at Littler Mendelson, the largest labor and employment law firm in the U.S., where he gained a wide range of experiences in employment relations and regulations.

Cornelius earned his B.A. in Political Science and Government and his J.D. from the University of Arkansas.

Cornelius is an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and, when possible, loves to travel with his wife, Tea’. He also enjoys spending time with his friends, family and French bulldog, Rocky.

Cornelius’ Favorite eBay Experience:

“I am a self-proclaimed ‘sneakerhead.’ As a child, I used to save my allowances from doing chores to buy sneakers. Now, as an adult, buying my favorite shoes from my childhood is always a nostalgic moment for me. Some old habits die hard — I have continued to add to my collection by finding unique and collectible sneakers on eBay.”
