Peggy Alford

Peggy Alford is Chief Financial Officer of eBay, Inc. In this role, she heads eBay’s financial operations including controllership, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, audit, workplace resources and investor relations.

Peggy has extensive experience leading finance, operations, and global teams in the technology sector, and a proven track record of building strong organizations and driving operational excellence.

Prior to joining eBay, Peggy served as Executive Vice President, Global Sales of PayPal Holdings, Inc. (“PayPal”), a digital payments company, from March 2020 to January 2024. In this role, she led PayPal’s commercial and customer success teams worldwide, building high performing teams across product development, go-to-market, and growth strategy. Peggy previously served as PayPal’s Senior Vice President, Core Markets, from March 2019 to February 2020, and as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Operations at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, a philanthropic organization, from September 2017 to February 2019. Prior to Chan Zuckerberg, Peggy held various finance and business leadership roles at PayPal and eBay.

Peggy currently serves on the board of directors of Meta Platforms, Inc., and previously served on the board of directors of The Macerich Company from 2018 to 2024. Peggy holds a B.S. in accounting and business administration from the University of Dayton.
