Prior to joining eBay, Steve served as CFO for JetBlue where he was responsible for overseeing the company’s finances, strategic sourcing and infrastructure development. During his time at the company, he served as the oversight officer for JetBlue Technology Ventures, which was established to ensure JetBlue’s commitment to innovation. He worked in close partnership with the CEO and leadership team to focus on customer excellence through digital innovation and service, culminating in the highest Net Promoter Score (NPS) in the industry. Most recently, he helped the airline navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before that, Steve spent nearly 20 years at British Airways, where he held various senior leadership roles in finance, operations, customer service and strategy, and eventually served as Senior Vice President of its transatlantic joint venture business with American Airlines, Iberia and Finnair.

Steve earned a bachelor's degree in geography and economics from the University of Manchester in the U.K. and holds a Chartered Global Management Accountant certification.

Steve’s Favorite eBay Experience:

“With young children at home, eBay is always my go-to for toys and games, and the oh so hard-to-find replacement parts that inevitably go missing! Only a few weeks ago my four-year-old was devastated that we were missing pieces from his favorite game. eBay saved the day, and I was a hero when three days later the parts arrived in the mail!”
