Company Renews Its Commitment to Job Creation in the Austin-city Area

Global commerce platform and payments leader eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY), today announced that it will be participating in the Austin Painpoint Job Fair on June 29 at the AT&T Conference Center in Austin, Texas.

As part of the company’s agreement with the Austin City Council signed last year, eBay Inc. will be creating jobs in the Austin area over the next ten years. At the job fair, the company will be looking for a diversity of talent for its GSI Commerce, Marketplaces and PayPal businesses.

Presented by Door64, the Austin Painpoint Job Fair is a one-day event specifically targeted at connecting key candidates with leading Austin-based companies. In addition to the designers, developers and engineers, the company also anticipates adding Operation team members, summer interns and new college graduates to its Austin offices.
