Since the NFL International Series launched in 2007, London’s Wembley Stadium has hosted a number of regular season American football games outside of the United States. The games proved popular, especially the two games played in 2013.

As with any in-demand sporting event, buying tickets for NFL London isn’t easy. Not only is there high demand for tickets from passionate fans across Europe and the US, but the tickets also sell out extremely quickly. Primary tickets for the 2013 games sold out in less than two days, nine months prior to the event. This means that many enthusiasts are missing out on a once in a lifetime experience.

StubHub has simplified this process by providing fans with a safe and secure location to buy and sell tickets for NFL London.  The company also made the ticket pick-up process for the two 2013 International Series more fun, and oversaw the exchange of 3,000 tickets over the two events.

VIPs were given their own entrance at Wembley Stadium and fans were treated to StubHub freebies, face-painting, candyfloss, popcorn, assorted beverages and photo opportunities with authentic NFL gear and the StubHub Cheerleaders. Given the event’s success, StubHub’s Last Minute Services team has already started planning for next year and hope to create an even bigger and better experience for buyers and sellers. StubHub is also hoping to smash this year’s sales record, and will be helped by the NFL’s announcement that 2014 will see three regular season NFL games at Wembley Stadium instead of just two!

The 2014 games are as follows:

  • Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Dallas Cowboys
  • Atlanta Falcons vs. Detroit Lions
  • Oakland Raiders vs. Miami Dolphins

Dates for these fixtures are yet to be confirmed.
