In honor of Father’s Day, take advantage of Daily Deals and enter a Facebook sweepstakes.

eBay has kicked off its For Every Superdad There’s a Super Gift campaign, in honor of Father’s Day, coming up on June 19. eBay will make Daily Deals available in several product categories that feature ideal gifts for fathers, including Motors-, Electronics- and Fashion-related items.

As a part of the campaign, eBay is running a You Are My Superdad Sweepstakes on Facebook, through June 19, offering entrants a chance to win prizes.

The You Are My Superdad Sweepstakes on Facebook is underway now. On Facebook, a simple gift suggestion wizard helps shoppers identify their superdads’ “Dad profiles” to find the perfect gift.  Participants are entered into a daily drawing and grand prize sweepstakes for participating, and will be issued a second entry for purchasing merchandise on eBay. Twitter users can also re-tweet eBay’s Father’s Day deals, or tweet using the #eBayDads hashtag to be entered into a daily sweepstakes.

Each year, Father’s Day is a major retail event celebrated in many countries around the world. Seventy-five percent of Americans celebrated it in 2010. Sonora Smart Dodd is credited with initiating Father’s Day in the U.S. on June 19, 1910.

eBay’s For Every Superdad There’s a Super Gift campaign builds on momentum gained from successful March Madness and Mother’s Day deals, and harnesses the power of eBay’s platform to make it easier for shoppers to find the perfect gifts for dads.
