During his tenure of more than seven years at eBay Inc., CFO Bob Swan has helped drive the company from a $6 billion business to one that generated over $16 billion in annual revenue in 2013. In recognition of his rarefied talents, Institutional Investor has named him to its America’s Best CFOs list in the Internet category for sell-side CFOs.
To arrive at its rankings, Institutional Investor polls portfolio managers and buy-side equity analysts to determine the executives that they deem to be the best CFOs by industry. This year’s list also included technology-focused CFOs from Google, IBM, EMC, Texas Instruments and Oracle, as well as CFOs from retailers such as Macy’s and Home Depot. Swan, along with the other winners, will be honored at Institutional Investor’s CFO Awards ceremony on May 14, in New York.
