IndyCar is auctioning four tickets to the 101st Running of the Indianapolis 500 on eBay for Charity, with proceeds benefiting the Indy Family Foundation.

Earlier this week, IndyCar driver Alexander Rossi visited eBay Main Street to promote an eBay for Charity auction benefitting the Indy Family Foundation and the Benevolent Fund of Motorsports.

Rossi, a rookie driver who won the Indianapolis 500 earlier this year, spent the afternoon talking with eBay employees and posing for photos next to a replica IndyCar.  He’ll participate in the final race of the year this Sunday at Sonoma Raceway.

IndyCar is utilizing eBay to list four tickets to the 101st Running of the Indianapolis 500, held at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. In addition to attending the event, winners will get a chance to meet their favorite driver and access to IndyCar garages and pre-race visits to the pit lane.

The Benevolent Fund of Motorsports, Inc. offers financial aid to members of the IndyCar racing community and their families in times of need caused by death, injury, or illness. The Benevolent Fund of Motorsports, Inc. also awards money to ill and injured members of the motor racing community at large. Eligible motor racing participants include mechanics, drivers, course workers, support personnel, public relations and media workers, team owners, and administrative personnel.

The auction is currently live and runs until Sunday, September 18th, at 4:00PM PST.
