At PayPal’s Shopping Showcase in New York, exciting things are happening! We’re not only welcoming retailers into the future of commerce this holiday season, renowned fashion commentator and creative genius Simon Doonan is helping us do it. If you’ve ever been shopping in New York during the holidays, you know half the fun is seeing all the great holiday window displays in storefronts.
There’s one retailer in particular that’s known for irreverent and eye-catching displays – luxury department retailer Barneys New York. That’s why we are thrilled to announce that the man behind those displays for Barneys New York, Simon Doonan, has wrapped up PayPal’s Shopping Showcase in blue!
When we asked Simon about taking on this assignment he had this to say: “Having worked in retail marketing and display for so many years, I am delighted to be part of this revolutionary moment in PayPal’s history. It sounds crazy, but PayPal has managed to make paying for things sexy. Who knew?”
Simon’s creations capture the spirit of PayPal’s 100 million customers and showcase our passion for connecting merchants and consumers via innovative ways to shop and pay.
