Contactless payments may be a god-cent for some, but research from eBay Australia has revealed that wallets overwhelmingly continue to be a staple accessory, with almost nine out of ten (88%)1 Aussies surveyed saying they still carry a wallet.
The research also revealed more than one-third of Aussies surveyed (37%)2 prefer luxury brands when shopping for wallets. Of the 58% of Aussies who would consider buying a pre-loved luxury wallet, one in two (51%) reported affordability as being the key reason for shopping pre-loved3.
