eBay has announced the launch of Fitment Plus Auto for the UK market, making it simpler than ever to sell and find car parts using the UK’s number one online marketplace for vehicle parts and accessories.
The feature makes it easier for eBay parts and accessories sellers to add and maintain the vehicle compatibility information buyers rely on when shopping for automotive parts online.
Fitment Plus Auto automatically reviews eligible eBay Parts & Accessories listings and uses both the brand data and Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) to identify compatible vehicle information. Where fitment information is missing or incomplete, the feature can add relevant vehicle compatibility information to help shoppers find the right part for their vehicle.
Comprehensive fitment information helps eligible listings appear in more relevant searches, supports buyer confidence and reduces the ongoing effort required for sellers to maintain vehicle compatibility data, and, as new information becomes available, Fitment Plus Auto will update listings accordingly.
Eligible sellers in fitment-enabled Parts & Accessories categories are automatically enrolled in Fitment Plus Auto. No action is needed to receive eligible fitment enhancements. Sellers can manage their participation at any time, with the ability to opt out or opt back in through their Motors Selling Preferences.
Vehicle compatibility is a critical part of the online Parts & Accessories shopping experience. Fitment Plus Auto is designed to make it easier for buyers to identify parts that are compatible with their vehicle, while supporting eBay’s continued investment in product data quality and the overall Parts & Accessories shopping experience.

Fitment Plus Auto applies to eligible Parts & Accessories listings in fitment-enabled UK categories, excluding tyres and wheels. Any listings enhanced through Fitment Plus Auto will also qualify for the eBay Assured Fit programme.
