eBay Reveals Crocs Will Be Clog(ing) Up Brits’ Wardrobes This Summer

Press Release

As normcore fashion items like bum bags and dad sneakers see a resurgence on runways and the high street, eBay.co.uk has revealed Brits have logged almost 25,000 searches for Crocs in the last month, with Brits searching for the statement slip-ons every minute.[1]

With almost 80,000 Crocs listings on the online marketplace, items currently range from camouflage to union jack designs.

The unlikely fashion statement has been at the heart of several high end collaborations with Balenciaga and Christopher Kane, provided inspiration for Kanye West’s Yeezy slides, and even inspired a Snapchat filter in mid-April that was used over 4 million times in its first 10 days.

With these cultural moments and celeb fans including Rihanna and Jared Leto spurring on a fever for the unique footwear, the online marketplace sold almost 15,000 Crocs in the month of April – that’s 20 pairs sold on the hour![2]
