Earlier this year, eBay launched Always Open on eBay, a program that works with sellers that have Brick and Mortar storefronts to help better connect their offline and online businesses. This program supports our sellers by showcasing their products, attracting new customers, and growing their business. To date, more than 500 sellers have enrolled in Always Open on eBay, sharing with potential customers that even when their physical store is closed, online inventory is always available for purchase.
These sellers, located in small towns and cities across the United States, receive branded materials to display in their storefronts that help drive potential buyers to eBay.com/AlwaysOpen, where shoppers can find the unique inventory they are looking for.
When a potential customer sees the ‘Always Open on eBay’ sign, they can use a phone to scan the QR code on the window display to shop their online inventory, even when the physical store may be closed.
“Always Open provides an ‘always-on’ solution for physical retailers, and further establishes our ongoing commitment to supporting small and medium-sized businesses,” says eBay VP, Seller Marketplace Bob Kupbens. “Our job is to give sellers the tools they need to drive sales and flourish as successful business owners.”
We have also welcomed Retail Revival sellers from both Akron and Lansing into the program, helping them leverage eBay’s global marketplace to support and drive local business development in their respective cities.
If you are an existing eBay seller with a physical retail store, or a retail store who has not yet brought your business online, please sign up here to join Always Open on eBay.
