Held at eBay's Orchard campus for four hours on Tuesday, November 1, eBay held a colorful Diwali celebration for all in the Bay Area who could attend. Over 1,000 people registered for the event, and by the time the festivities had begun, the tent in which the event was held was packed. Chief Information Officer Dan Morales, Chief Diversity Officer Damien Hooper-Campbell, and Chief Communications Officer Dan Tarman were all in attendance. Both Dan Morales and Damien Hooper-Campbell addressed the crowd, noting particularly how special it was to see so many people come together in celebration.
As part of the celebration, food and drink were catered into the venue, and eBay's Diwali Committee organized entertainment throughout the evening.
