Kristian Haigh appointed as a Senior Director of B2C & Advertising; David Ramadge re-joins the company as a Senior Director of Product & Shipping

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (FEBRUARY 5, 2017) – eBay.com.au, Australia’s largest online marketplace for businesses large and small, announced the appointment of Kristian Haigh as Senior Director of B2C Advertising & Partnerships and David Ramadge as Senior Director of Product & Shipping.

I’m pleased to welcome both of these Aussies back to Sydney and have them join my leadership team.”

Haigh, a 15-year veteran in the retail, marketing, and advertising field, will be joining the company on April 1 as a Senior Director of B2C & Advertising. In this role, he’ll be responsible for driving commercial results for B2C sellers and advertisers. Previously, Haigh worked out of eBay’s European headquarters in Switzerland where he oversaw eBay EMEA’s B2C and Advertising Business. Prior to eBay, Haigh held several Director positions with UK based direct-response start up High Street TV and Rebel Sport.

Ramadge has re-joined eBay as a Senior Director of Product & Shipping, focused on creating a seamless end-to-end customer experience for buyers and sellers. Ramadge has been overseeing the team working to bring eBay’s Guaranteed Delivery program to market. Ramadge has over a decade of global technology product experience within commerce and other software disciplines. Ramadge initially joined eBay after Milo, a start-up that was focused on local shopping, was acquired by eBay in 2010.  Between his two eBay stints, Ramadge worked at Google and was a Co-Founder & COO of Neoglyphic Entertainment.

Kristian Haigh

Senior Director B2C & Advertising eBay Australia & New Zealand

Kristian Haigh is the Senior Director B2C & Advertising of eBay Australia, bringing nearly 15 years of experience in retail, marketing, operations, and advertising space. In his current role, Kristian is responsible for driving commercial results for our professional B2C sellers and advertisers. Since 2014, Kristian has worked out of eBay’s European headquarters in Switzerland and oversaw eBay EMEA’s B2C and Advertising business, focusing on the financial and NPS performance of professional B2C sellers and advertisers in Europe.

Prior to eBay, Kristian held several Director positions with UK based direct-response start up High Street TV, where he built a $2m p.a eBay business and spent 6 years at Rebel Sport departing as Group Marketing Manager. Kristian is a Non-Executive Director for NYC based start-up Jitjatjo, a mobile lead marketplace for real-time temporary employment.

Kristian is a graduate of the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.

David Ramadge

Senior Director, Product & Shipping, eBay Australia & New Zealand

As the Senior Director of Product & Shipping at eBay Australia, Dave brings over a decade of global technology product leadership, both within commerce and other software disciplines. In December of 2017, Dave re-joined eBay, focusing on delivering a seamless end-to-end customer experience for buyers and sellers, including working to bring eBay’s Guaranteed Delivery program to market. Dave also led several teams at eBay headquarters in San Jose, California between 2010-2015 as a member of the eBay Local team after Milo, a start-up that was focused on local shopping, was acquired by eBay in 2010.

Between his two eBay stints, Dave worked at Google in Product Strategy & Operations on products such as Google Maps and Local Search. Dave was also Co-Founder & COO of Neoglyphic Entertainment, a start-up focused on building advanced 3D and machine learning software for content creation and discovery in the entertainment industry.

Dave holds a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Biomedical Engineering from University of New South Wales.
