You can bid on items starting March 1, and proceeds benefit girls in South Africa.

It’s turning out to be a busy season for celebrity auctions on eBay, and entertainment titan Oprah Winfrey is the latest to throw her hat — along with 250+ items of high end, brand name clothes, shoes, accessories and home goods — into the ring.

The March issue of O, The Oprah Magazine is themed around spring cleaning, and for good reason. As featured in the magazine’s cover story, Oprah is cleaning out her Harpo Studios closet.  It’s the perfect time for her to put clothes and accessories up for auction on eBay, and you can begin bidding on items from Oprah’s closet beginning March 1 at 12 a.m. EST, here.

Oprah’s auction is for a good cause, too. It benefits The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, which creates opportunities for and supports girls in South Africa.

Adam Glassman, who assisted Oprah with her closet purge, spoke with People Magazine’s Style Watch.  “Most of these items are timeless and classic pieces,” he told People. “They have appeared on the covers of the magazine or episodes of her show, which make them so special.”

After the auction opens, Oprah has pledged to keep listing new items through March 4, so check in regularly.
